(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s enterprises imported some US$322.6 million worth of animal feed and relevant production materials in five months of this year, an increase of 8.3 percent year-on-year, according to Department of Industry and Trade.
In May alone, local enterprises spent US$67 million to import animal feed, a month-on-month increase of 18 percent.
Many local farmers have increased their herds in recent time because the African swine has been successfully controlled, resulting in higher demand for animal feed.
