(ĐN) - Dong Nai’s consumer price index (CPI) in April fell 1.68 percent from the previous month, according to the province’s Statistics Office.
The prices of three of the 11 groups of goods and services used to calculate the CPI saw month-on-month declines, with the strongest fall of 14.64 percent recorded in transport as a result of lower travel demand during the COVID-19-triggered social distancing period.
The prices of housing, electricity and water, fuel and building material reduced by 2.86 percent, while that of entertainment and travel services decreased by 1.1 percent.
Meanwhile, the food and catering services saw month-on-month increase.
