During the Jan-May period, the province’s export turnover totaled US$7.42 billion; meanwhile, imports reached around US$6 billion.
Commodities with strong growth in export value in the reviewed period included footwear, textile and garment, wood and wooden products, machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts, electronic products and components, etc.
Dong Nai’s export value has increased again in May after the epidemic is basically under control in the country.
Accordingly, the province’s export turnover in May reached US$1.19 billion, up 11.3 percent from the previous month.
