(ĐN)- According to Dinh Quan district People’s Committee, the district has so far zoned two areas for raising aquatic products meeting VietGAP standards.
The two areas are the aquatic product raising zone of Phu Ngoc Husbandry Cooperative Group, covering over 6.5 hectares in Phu Ngoc commune, which has eight members and annual fish output of 1,700 tonnes; and the aquatic product raising zone of No.10 Husbandry Cooperative Group, covering 16.6 hectares in Ngoc Dinh commune, which has eight members and annual fish output of over 3,500 tonnes.
In the coming time, the district will continue to zone other areas for raising aquatic products meeting VietGAP standards, with the model of raising blue-legged shrimp at some areas in the locality.
