In recent years, the province has principally imported machinery and equipment from Japan, the Republic of Korea (RoK), Taiwan, the US and Germany, with Japan topping the list of suppliers.
Particularly, machinery and equipment imports from Japan reached around US$72 million, the RoK (US$60 million), Taiwan (US$58 million), Germany (US$20 million) and the US (US$16 million).
