Rubber export price increases in Feb

(ĐN) - Dong Nai exported 4,200 tonnes of rubber worth some US$6.3 million in the first two months of this year, down 39 percent in volume and nearly 32 percent in value year-on-year, according to the Department of Industry and Trade.

The average export price in February estimated at US$1,500 per tonne, increased by 6.1 percent against the previous month and 10.4 percent compared to the same period of last year.

China still remains largest importer of local rubber with a revenue of US$2.4 million. It was followed by Switzerland, US$1.1 million, Taiwan, US$0.39 million, France, US$0.37 million and the US, US$0.15 million, etc.
