Accordingly, the province’s total chicken herd has accounted of 23.8 million heads. Most of the chickens are being mainly raised at farms. The rise of the province’s poultry herd was attributed to the stable prices of poultry in the market.
Around 80 percent of the poltry herd in Dong Nai is being raised under self-contained concentrated farms. The province is also leading the country in raising poultry under concentrated farm model.
