(ĐN)- Dong Nai Market Management Bureau has made efforts to promote control of smuggled, fake and food hygiene and safety violations in order to stabilize the goods market before, during and after Tet.
The Bureau in Jan-Feb examined and handled 468 violations, which were mainly related to selling of fake and low-quality products, items of unknown origin and food safety violations.
Accordingly, the bureau collected more than VND2 billion in fines.
Especially, local market management force cooperated with departments, agencies and localities to step up the inspection of medical equipment manufacturers and handle violations in trading medical supplies, including medical masks and hand sanitiser, serving the fight against the novel coronoavirus disease (COVID-19).
