In February only, the province imported an estimated US$82.8 million worth of iron and steel, according to Department of Industry and Trade.
The products were mainly imported from Republic of Korea, some US$71.5 million, China, US$42.3 million, Japan, US$13 million, Taiwan, US$8.9 million, France, US$6.3 million, Malaysia, US$4.6 million, and Germany, US$3.8 million, etc.
