Accordingly, Long Thanh township will be upgraded town, Binh Son will become a bordering urban area of Long Thanh International Airport while Phuoc Thai will be seaport urban area for seaport group 5 of Thi Vai river.
In addition, the region will form five functional areas bordering Long Thanh International Airport, including logistics service, smart urban area, large-scale service-trading area, tourist area and sport service and buffer zone of Long Thanh International Airport.
