(ĐN) - Dong Nai’s consumer price index (CPI) in January rose by 1.66 percent against that of December 2019 and 6.47 percent year on year, announced the Department of Industry and Trade.
Compared to the previous month, an upturn was seen in the prices of main groups of goods and services, leading by food and catering services (3,92 percent). It was followed by housing and construction materials, transport, garment and textile, headwear and footwear, and culture, entertainment and travel.
The CPI in January saw a strong rise due to the higher demand for food and foodstuff, drinks and textiles for the Lunar New Year (Tet) festival.
