(ĐN) - According to Vice Chairman Vo Van Chanh of the provincial People’s Committee, Dong Nai has so far spent more than VND500 billion to support African swine fever (ASF)-affected pig breeders.
The figure is estimated at some VND700 billion. Accordingly, the localities will continue assist households affected by ASF with total of nearly VND200 billion from now until the end of year.
In 2019, Dong Nai's livestock industry reached average growth of 3.1 percent, much lower than the growth rate of 5.6 percent the same time last year.
