(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s footwear sector in the year up to September posted US$3.2 billion in export turnover, up nearly 17% versus the year-ago figure.
The sector targets to earn US$4.29 billion in 2019, a record figure to date.
Footwear is the province’s biggest export commodity, which has also maintained a high growth rate of over the past five years.
Local footwear products are now being exported to more than 40 countries and territories around the world. Major markets included the US, China, Japan, RoK, and European countries.
Dong Nai is among the top five biggest export earners in the country.
