Petrol prices continue to decline

(ĐN)- The retail prices of E5 RON 92 and RON95 petrol dropped by VND135 and VND170 per liter, respectively, on August 31 following a decision made by the ministries of Finance, and Industry and Trade.

Accordingly, the price of E5 RON 92 is now sold at maximum of VND19,223 per liter, while that of RON95 is VND20,235 per liter.

Meanwhile, the price of diesel rose by VND165 per liter, and is sold at not higher than VND16,339 per liter, while the prices of kerosene increased by VND69 per liter, available for sale at not higher than VND15,327 per liter, and Mazut will be sold at no more than VND13,288, down VND244 per kg.

Petrol prices dropped three consecutive times this month, with a total decline of about 1,200 VND per litre. The two ministries review fuel prices every 15 days to adjust domestic prices in accordance with fluctuations in the global market.
