(ĐN)- Trang Bom district’s industrial production index in the first nine months of 2019 reached more than VND74.9 trillion, a year on year increase of 13.7 percent.
The foreign-invested sector is the main contributor to the locality’s growth, maintaining the growth rate of 13.4%, accounting for 98 percent of industrial production value.
The processing and manufacturing sector led the growth with a 13 percent increase.
It was followed by the electricity generation and distribution sector with a 12.2 percent rise, and the water supply and waste, waste water treatment with a 11.5 percent rise.
The mining industry also reported a 10.8 percent increase in the period.
In Jan-Sept, the locality’s total retail value of goods and service revenue hit 191 trillion VND, 17 percent higher than that of the previous year.
