(ĐN)- Dong Nai earned US$26.5 million from export of more than 9,700 tonnes of pepper in the first eight months of this year, increasing by 40 percent in volume and 6 per cent in value year-on-year, according to the provincial Department of Industry and Trade.

(ĐN)- Dong Nai earned US$26.5 million from export of more than 9,700 tonnes of pepper in the first eight months of this year, increasing by 40 percent in volume and 6 per cent in value year-on-year, according to the provincial Department of Industry and Trade.
Dong Nai’s pepper is now exported mainly to the US with turnover of around US$10.8 million, German (US$3.5 million), Pakistan (US$1.68 million), and Saudi Arabia (US$1.2 million).
Presently, the export price of pepper hit over US$2,600 per tonne, a year-on-year decrease of 14 percent.
