Dong Nai runs trade surplus of over $2.45 bln in 9 months

(ĐN)- Dong Nai recorded a trade surplus of over US$2.45 billion in the first nine months of 2019, accounting for 60 percent of the country's trade surplus during the period, according to the provincial Department of Statistics.

(ĐN)- Dong Nai recorded a trade surplus of over US$2.45 billion in the first nine months of 2019, accounting for 60 percent of the country’s trade surplus during the period, according to the provincial Department of Statistics. 

The province’s export turnover exceeded US$14.4 billion in January-September, a year-on-year rise of over 6.2 percent.

Footwear, textile and garment, wooden products and coffee are among the local key export commodities.
In the nine-month period, the province imported some USS$11.98 billion worth of goods, up 1 percent, mainly iron and steel, material for garment-textile and footwear, and chemical products.

Dong Nai is currently one of five leading cities and provinces in terms of trade surplus nationwide.
