Credit growth reaches 16.2 pct in 9-month period

(ĐN)- According to the Dong Nai branch of the State Bank of Vietnam, local credit organizations had a total credit balance of nearly VND211.6 trillion as of September 15, up some 16.2% from early this year.

 

(ĐN)- According to the Dong Nai branch of the State Bank of Vietnam, local credit organizations had a total credit balance of nearly VND211.6 trillion as of September 15, up some 16.2% from early this year.

Accordingly, the rate of non-performing loans out of the outstanding credit balance was 0.86 percent.

Short-term loans accounted for VND109.5 trillion, up 11.5 percent, while medium and long-term ones made up VND100.1 trillion, up over 19.6 percent.

The branch also noted that lending in foreign currency estimated at VND169.7 trillion.

Meanwhile, loans in the Vietnamese dong reached around VND39.9 trillion.
