(ĐN)- On July 22, Dong Nai Steering Committee for Building and Developing Collective Economy held a meeting to review its activities in the first half of this year and deploy tasks for the remaining months.
Vice Chairman Nguyen Quoc Hung of the provincial People’s Committee presided over the meeting.
As many as 18 new cooperatives have been established in Dong Nai during the first six months of this year, bringing the total cooperatives in the province to 373.
The cooperatives have a total chartered capital of nearly VND1,190 billion with the participation of more than 96,700 members, creating regular jobs for 53,300 laborers.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman suggested departments, agencies and localities to review the difficulties that the cooperatives are facing and open the way to resolving the issue, strive to complete targets for this year.
