(ĐN) - On June 18, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee had a working session with Thong Nhat district on its socio-economic situation in the first half of this year.
Accordingly, the district’s index of industrial production increased over 20 percent year on year, while trade and service revenues up nearly 19 percent.
During the reviewed period, budget collection was estimated at more than VND134.4 billion, fulfilling 70.6 percent of the whole year's estimates.
Speaking at the session, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai asked departments, agencies and local authorities to continue solutions to fulfill socio-economic development targets and ensure national security in the locality.
