At the reception, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai said that Japan ranks third among countries and territories that have FDI in the province, with 260 investment projects and total registered capital of around US$4.6 billion. Most of Japanese enterprises have invested into environmentally-friendly, hi-tech projects and are doing business effectively in Dong Nai.
Chairman appreciated precious contributions made by the JBAH in connecting the local authorities with Japanese investors and said that the province would organize an investment promotion conference in Japan in November.
For his part, Hideyuki said JBAH now has over 1,000 member companies. He lauded the provice’s efforts to hold conferences to listen to Japanese firms’ feedback to improve the local business climate and stressed that Dong Nai is an attractive destination in the eyes of Japanese investors. He hoped that the provincial authorities would continue their support for Japanese enterprises to land their investment in Dong Nai.
