(ĐN) - Dong Nai-based enterprises exported US$40.4 million worth of materials for textile and garments, and footwear production in April, a month-on-month increase of 4.5 percent.
The figure brought the total export value of those items in the first four months of this year to US$140 million, up nearly 22 percent from a year ago.
According to Department of Industry and Trade, the top importer of the province’s materials for textile and footwear in the period was China, which accounted for 30 percent of the total export value.
In recent years, local enterprises have focused on investing in full supply chains, especially regarding the production of materials and sub-materials for textile and garments, and footwear to receive export orders.
