Businesses in the province mainly imported products from China, the Republic of Korea, the US, Japan, Thailand and Taiwan.
Accordingly, the province’s spending on Chinese imports exceeded US$1 billion in Jan-April, making up 20.2 percent of the province’s total imports and increasing 41 percent from the same period last year.
Meanwhile, imports from the RoK and Taiwan were over US$887 million and US$570 million, respectively
