The May figure brought total turnover in the first three months of this year to some VND45.3 trillion, a year-on-year increase of more than 11.7 percent.
Among the sectors involved, retails enjoyed an increase of 11.8 percent, while hotel and restaurant saw a rise of 12.3 percent and tourism – 9.5 percent.
