(ĐN)- Dong Nai branch of the State Bank of Viet Nam provided loans totaling VND57.3 trillion to communes to build new rural areas in the first four months of this year.
The figure accounted for nearly 30 percent of total loans and increased over 22 percent compared to the end of previous year.
The loans have been used to develop technical infrastructure, irrigation and public works, production and business.
Currently, Dong Nai is leading the country in new rural area construction, with 100 percent of its communes meeting all criteria for new rural areas.
