(ĐN)- Supermarkets including Co.op Mart Bien Hoa, Lotte Mart Dong Nai, Big C Dong Nai, Big C Tan Hiep, and Vincom Bien Hoa, etc reported a sharp increase in sales from February 1-2, or the 27th and 28th days of the last lunar month.
Co.opmart Bien Hoa, for instance, said sales was up by three times compared to normal days, especially of confectionery, beverages, and dried food.
It expects sales to rise further from now through the New Year, especially of fresh food such as pork, beef, poultry meat, fruits and vegetables.
Big C’s representative also said the number of shoppers at supermarket chain was up two-fold on these days.
On this occasion, supermarkets in Dong Nai are offering attractive discounts on thousands of items.
