(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s exports in February saw a 6.6 percent drop from the previous month hitting nearly US$1.19 billion, according to the Department of Statistics.
However, the enterprises reported a trade surplus of US$140 million in this month.
Accordingly, the province recorded a trade surplus of US$475 million in the first two months of 2019.
It’s estimated that local exports value will increase in the coming months due to enterprises resuming their operation after Tet. Many businesses have received orders until the end of this year.
Especially, the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement and the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) are also forecast to help increase orders for local exporters.
