(ĐN)- Dong Nai-based supermarkets and trade centers have reported a high increase in the number of customers during the four-day New Year holiday.
Accordingly, the number of shoppers had increased by two or three times compared to normal days and sales had increased significantly.
Lotte Mart, Big C, Co.op Mart Bien Hoa, Vincom said sales had been up 50 percent, with processed and ready-to-eat foods, soft drinks, fruits and vegetables, and clothes being the biggest sellers.
Promotions had greatly contributed to the higher sales, they said.
