According to the provincial Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sub-department, Dong Nai has so far had 165 chicken farms and 6 chicken slaughter houses which registered to take part in the project of checking the origins for chickens supplied to HCM city
Accordingly, around 1.5 million live chickens, which are traced origins, are supplied to HCM city every month by 30-40 farms, In addition, 3-4 chicken slaughter houses in the province provide between 500,000 and 600,000 live chickens to supermarkets and stores in HCM city.
