(ĐN)- During this time of the year, food businesses, trade centers and supermarkets in Dong Nai are busy organizing for the Tet holiday. So far, food goods have been prepared with a total value of over VND1,360 billion, a year-on-year increase of 20 percent, with food health and safety set at the top priority, according to Department of Industry and Trade.
Many poultry meat and egg suppliers also pledged to prepare enough goods at stable prices for the Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday, which falls on February 5.
According to the department, to ensure goods reach consumers with the best price, enterprises need to increase the sales points in remote areas, industrial parks, export processing zones, residential areas for worker and companies having a large number of workers.
