The event was attended by Secretary of Dong Nai Party’s Committee Nguyen Phu Cuong, Thailand’s Consul General in Ho Chi Minh city Ureerat Ratanaprukse, along with more than 2,500 employees of the company.
Over the past 25 years, C.P Vietnam has opened 10 animal feed manufacturing plants, 5 aquatic product processing factories and 90 branches nationwide with over 20,000 laborers, according to General Manager of C.P. Vietnam Montri Suwanposri.
With the aim to become the Kitchen of the World, C.P has boosted links with 3,000 farms in Vietnam to supply some 5 million pigs, 4 million tons of animal feed, 200 million eggs and 20,000 tons of processed aquatic products.
In addition, the company also took part in many charitable activities, such as blood donation, presenting gifts and scholarships for poor people.
Thailand’s Consul General in Ho Chi Minh city Ureerat Ratanaprukse said Thai-invested C.P Corporation has gained success when investing in Dong Nai and it has received active support from the Government and local authorities since its foundation. C.P Vietnam is also the first-ever Thai-invested company to receive the third-class Labor Medal awarded by the State President, adding that this is the big proud for C.P Vietnam, in particular, and Thai-invested enterprises, in general.
