(ĐN) – Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee has just approved to offer nearly VND12.3 billion to fish farmers affected by mass fish deaths on the La Nga River caused by a natural disaster on May 21.
Some 1,992 tonnes of dead fish were found on the La Nga river in Dinh Quan district on May 20.
Breeders had to barter dead fish away at a cheap price to traders and animal-feed processing plants. They estimated to suffer hundred of billions of dong in losses in this period.
