In October only, the province shipped 3,200 tonnes of cashew nuts worth about US$27 million. The average export price for the period was US$8,343 per tonne, a month-on-month decrease of 1.5 percent.
The province’s key cashew nut export markets include the US, China, UK, Germany, Holland and Canada.
