The province’s output of aquatic products in August reached more than 38,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 7.5 percent. The rise was due to the high prices of aquatic products in the market, making a large number of breeders.
Many of local breeders have shifted from raising fish to intensive shrimp framing. The province’s hectares of intensive shrimp framing have accounted of 57 percent out of the total hectares of aquatic product cultivation.
