Footwear exports hit $384 mln in June

(ĐN) - Dong Nai Statistics Department reported that the province earned US$384 million from footwear export in June, over US$53 million higher than the previous month.

The June figure brought Dong Nai’s total footwear export value in the first halft of this year to more than US$1.82 billion, a year-on-year increase of nearly 14 percent.

Footwear is the province’s biggest export commodity which has also maintained a high growth rate over the past ten years. 

Most of the export turnover from footwear was mainly earned by foreign-invested enterprises such as Changshin VN, Pouchen VN, Taekwang Vina, etc.
