(ĐN)- Dong Nai currently has 32 industrial parks (IP), ten of which are operating with filling rate of 100 percent, according to Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority (DIZA).
On average, over 75 percent of the area of industrial parks is hired at present, higher than the country's average of some 10 percent. Most of land was rented at IPs including Giang Dien in Trang Bom district, Dau Giay in Thong Nhat district, Long Khanh in Long Khanh town, Nhon Trach 3, Nhon Trach 5 and Nhon Trach 6 in Nhon Trach district, Loc An-Binh Son in Long Thanh district.
Since the beginning of this year, Nhon Trach 6 industrial park leased around 32 hectares of land to investors. So far, this IP have been filled with 70% capacity. The figure is expected to reach 100% by 2020.
In this period, Giang Dien IP also attracted 6 projects with the total rented area of over 20 hectares, said General Director of Sonadezi Giang Dien.
Dong Nai targets to lease some 100 hectares this year; as of June-end, some 80 hectares have been hired, fulfilling 80% of the yearly plan.
Investors rented land in IPs to make their new investment, expand production and build production plants. More enterprises have come to Dong Nai to increase their investment and expand production due to the province’s good infrastructure as well as preferential investment policies.
In 2018, the province plans to lure around US$1 billion in FDI. The figure reached US$903 million in the first half of the year.
