(ĐN)- Dong Nai raked in US$14.9 million from exporting nearly 4,000 tonnes of pepper in the first five months of 2018, up 90 percent in volume but down 4 percent in value year on year. Pepper export price now stands at US$3,745 per tonne.
In this period, the province also shipped some 108,600 tonnes of pepper to abroad, saw a 15 percent reduction in export value but an increase of 4 percent in export volume. Average coffee export price in five months of 2018 reached more than US$ 1,800 per tonne.
