(ĐN)- Dong Nai-based supermarkets and trade centers have reported a high increase in the number of customers during the National Reunification Day and May Day holidays.
Particularly, Co.opmart Bien Hoa attracted some 24,000 shoppers, doubled compared to weekdays.
Lotte Mart Dong Nai was also seen overcrowded with customers from April to May 1.
Similarly, Big C Dong Nai and Big C Tan Hiep supermarkets reported that purchasing power was half as much again normal with the most chosen items including consumer goods, processed food, vegetable and fruit prices.
According to the supermarket, the number of customers sharply increased because of the long holiday and many promotional programs covering thousands of items.
