(ĐN)- Hundreds of tonnes of fish reared in floating rafts in the La Nga river in Dinh Quan district were found dead on May 21, causing vast damage to local farming households.
Breeders had to barter dead fish away at a cheap price to traders and animal-feed processing plants. They estimated to suffer billions of dong in losses in this period.
Local breeders are making efforts to rescue the rest of the fish.
