(ĐN) – On May 9, Vice Chairman Tran Van Vinh of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee had a working session with departments, agencies and Sonadezi Corp on overcoming pollution and converting Bien Hoa 1 industrial park into the urban-service-trading area.
Sonadezi has made plans to convert the IP into the urban-service-trading area since 2013. However, the plan has been delayed as companies in the facility want to get greater assistance including the arrangement for new locations for their factories and tax reduction due to arising losses caused by the relocation.
All specific supporting mechanisms for the function conversion project have been being completed to submit to the provincial People’s Committee for approval.
Currently, there are 79 enterprises operating at this industrial park and most of the enterprises are using backward production technologies.
