Domestic revenue, estimated at VND8.56 trillion, rose by 20 percent from the same period last year. The figure was equal to 22 percent of the estimate.
Meanwhile, revenues from import-export activities were VND3.8 trillion, accounting for 25 percent of the estimate and up 13 percent year-on-year.
Director Huynh Thanh Binh of Finance Department said that the department would continue efforts to team up with the related agencies to swiftly and effectively implement the 2018 state budget collection.
