(ĐN)- One kilogram of bananas for export is currently sold at gardens in Trang Bom district at about VND13,000, decreasing VND4,000-5,000 from early this month.
The slightly fall was attributed to abundant supply of bananas. However, the price was much higher than it in the same period last month. With the price, farmers can earn a profit of around VND500 million a hectare of bananas. Thus, many farmers have continued to expand their cultivation areas of bananas.
