(ĐN)- Dong Nai has so far pushed production linkages to develop stable outputs for local agricultural products. Accordingly, some 24 linking chains have been set up, allowing farmers to sell products to businesses above market prices.
In this period, the province also built 21 safety animal husbandry linkage chains.
Dong Nai is now the province with the nation's largest pig herd and second-largest chicken herd. Accordingly, the province has more than 1.7 million of pigs and over 19 million of chickens
Nearly 70% of the pigs and chickens are being raised under concentrated farming model. The province is building large breeding zones which can help farmers ensure the epidemic diseases control and prevention.
