(ĐN)- On March 1, Mr K. Srikar Reddy, Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, paid a courtesy visit to Dong Nai’s leaders.
At the reception, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai of the provincial Party Committee introduced the delegation on the recent development of the province. Dong Nai is now home to nearly 1,300 FDI projects totaling US$27 billion.
Two-way trade between Dong Nai and India estimated at nearly US$550 million per year. Accordingly, Dong Nai’s enterprises imported raw materials for animal feed production and materials for industrial production from India. Meanwhile, India is large export market for the province’s products.
According to Mr K. Srika Reddy, Indian enterprises are now interested in the province’s business climate in infrastructure, wind and solar energy, renewable energy, apparel and medicine. He pledged to act as a bridge for Indian enterprises to invest in the province, contributing to increase trade between India and Dong Nai.
