(ĐN)- According to pepper growers in Dong Nai, domestic pepper price recently slipped to a five-year low due to weak demand.
Pepper price is currently at some VND57,000-58,000 per kg. The cause for the fall in price is said to be a sharp increase in quantity in recent years.
Dong Nai is now home to nearly 15,000 ha of pepper, double the set target. 2018 is forecast to be a difficult year for domestic pepper.
