(ĐN)- Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee has approved a decision on the detailed zoning plan for a concentrated aquaculture area in Nhon Trach district on the 2017-2020 period, with a vision until 2030.

According to the plan, most of the area, which will cover over 700 hectares, will be used to breeding brackish water shrimp and oyster.
Over VND4.4 trillion will be needed for the project that will be divided into 7 sub-areas. Each sub-area for breeding shrimp will be at least 50ha and use sophisticated techniques and farming models like super-intensive farming.
The plan aims to develop Nhon Trach district’s aquaculture in a safe and sustainable manner, increase its value and farmers’ incomes, and protect the environment.
