Purchasing power surged during Tet

(ĐN)- Supermarkets in Dong Nai have reported an increase of 3% and 5% in purchasing power during Lunar New Year holidays from February 11-15.

(ĐN)- Supermarkets in Dong Nai have reported an increase of 3% and 5% in purchasing power during Lunar New Year holidays from February 11-15.

Demand for priced-stabilized items like rice, sugar, cooking oil, and eggs and discounted products and processed foods is 15 percent higher than the same period last year.

In this period, local supermarkets offered attractive discounts on thousands of items.

To meet the Tet rush, many supermarkets have extended their opening hours as well as increased the number of cashiers to ensure convenience and safety.
