Dong Nai lures US$62.2 mln of FDI in January

(ĐN)- Dong Nai attracted US$62.2 million in foreign direct investment (FDI) in January, a year-on-year increase of 50 percent, according to Department of Planning and Investment.

(ĐN)- Dong Nai attracted US$62.2 million in foreign direct investment (FDI) in January, a year-on-year increase of 50 percent, according to Department of Planning and Investment.

In this period, the province granted investment licences to 4 new projects with a total registered capital of US$22.7 million.

Besides, 3 projects saw capital adjustment with additional investments of US$39.5 million. Particularly, Henkel Adhesive Technologies VN in Bien Hoa 2 industrial park (IP) and Inzi Vina Company in Amata IP registered to add over US$19 million and US$18 million, respectively, to their existing capital.

Among nations and territories investing in Dong Nai in January, Republic of Korea, Japan and Singapore were the biggest investors.

The province is currently home to nearly 1,300 valid FDI projects worth approximately US$27 billion by investors from 45 countries and territories.
