(ĐN)- In 2017, Dong Nai attracted 87 new foreign direct investment (FDI) projects from 14 countries and territories with a total registered capital of over US$1 billion.
Of the total, five are from the Singapore with a total investment capital of more than US$490 million, thirty-three projects, worth US$123 million, from the Republic of Korea, and twenty-three from Japan with a combined capital of US$117 million.
Several projects with large investment capital included a US$60 million plant of Powerknit Vietnam and Pou Phong VN's US$55 million investment for its factory.
According to the provincial Department of Planning and Investment, almost all projects licensed last year are located in the industrial parks.
