(ĐN)- On January 24, Dong Nai Department of Finance held a meeting to review its activities in 2017 and set tasks for 2018.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman Nguyen Quoc Hung of the provincial People’s Committee suggested the department to devise multiple measures to ensure the budget collection target this year.
In 2018, Dong Nai's total budget collection is estimated at VND53.85 trillion. Of the sum, the domestic collection will reach more than VND38.3 trillion while budget revenue from import-export activities will be VND15.5 trillion.
Meanwhile, budget spending is also expected at over VND26 trillion, including some VND12 trillion from investment and development spending and VND7.2 trillion from regular expenditure.
To achieve this goal, the department will continue efforts to overcome shortcomings in budget collection and expenses, effectively use the state budget for development.
The province’s total State budget collection in 2017 was estimated at over VND48.8 trillion, fulfilling 101% of the whole year’s estimates and representing a year-on-year increase of 13%. In the reviewed period, the total budget spending was over VND19.1 trillion, a year-on-year rise of 20%.
